All Shore Industries (ASI), has released yet another Transflective TFT Module. The new 2.83” thin film transistor (TFT) transflective LCD module, ASI-T-2831DA1BN/D, provides enhanced viewing, even in direct sunlight.

The new 2.83" TFT Transflective LCD is simply another example of ASI's dedication to both quality and initiative in growing its list of direct sunlight viewable TFT displays. The ASI-T-2831DA1BN/D features 240 x RGB x 320 resolution along with a special transflective polarizer, making it a vibrant display even in direct sunlight. Applications include navigators, outdoor kiosks, auto, aviation and marine equipment and any product requiring good readability under all lighting conditions. The module has an outline dimension of 50.0X69.2x2.85 mm with an active area of 43.20x57.80mm. It includes the Renesas R61505W Controller/driver providing both 80-system data bus and RGB interface. Samples and production quantities are available now.

The transflective ASI-T-2831DA1BN/D fills the gap between ASI’s 2.2” transflective display, the ASI-T-2201DA0NN/D, and their 3.5” transflective displays, the ASI-T-350DA0EN/D and ASI-T-350DA0ET/D (includes resistive touch screen).

ASI offers a variety of TFT displays ranging in size from 1.44" to 8.9" to suit all your needs. Resistive and capacitive touch screens are available on many units. Select modules are also available with integrated controllers, providing easy 80-system bus interface.
